Ocean View Estates

The course will be facilitated from Ocean View Estates, perfectly situated in the rolling hills of Ocean View on the Mt Mee tourist drive.

We love Ocean View Estates because it’s horse friendly (Fez and Red have a sleeping pen on site), there’s plenty of space (we do all our horsemanship on the old helipad!), and it has a brand new conference centre which is ideal for the workshop component of the course. And the food and views are amazing!

Ocean View

Ocean View is the gateway to the mountain range of Mount Mee, about 10 minutes’ drive from the town of Dayboro, and located on top of the mountain. It is a very quiet and secluded rural suburb, covered with acreage properties, small farms, and winery estates.

Ocean View is only an hour’s drive from the centre of Brisbane, but a world away in mindset. It’s a quiet, secluded community boasting stunning valley views and charming scenery.

When the mercury rises in Brisbane, Ocean View is guaranteed to be at least four degrees cooler. The elevated altitude and strong sea breezes create a micro-climate which is perfect for fine wine production.

Filled with generous warm hearted locals, a day trip here is always a pleasure. A good place to stop first is Hay Cottage in the centre of town, which provides tourist information as well as selling arts and crafts.

Activities available in Dayboro include horse riding, four-wheel drive adventures, visiting vineyards, feeding the deer and lamas or visiting a number of highly original art galleries and craft shops.
